The Tarebhir Waterfall (Jharna) is a standout feature, plus sweeping views of the Kathmandu Valley. It's especially ideal for hiking beginners, photographers, and weekend adventurers
It’s situated near Gokarna/Budhanilkantha (~12–15 km from Kathmandu). You can travel by bus to Gokarna Hanuman Chowk (NPR 40), then take an auto to Santukhan (NPR 30) to begin the hike.
I would definitely suggest you visit the Tarebhir Jharna (waterfall) – it’s the true gem of this hike. The viewpoint is nice to see at least once, but not a must. However, the waterfall is something you absolutely shouldn’t miss
